Identifying and control of unstable behavior is essential

There are several suggestions on the news and on the Internet for solving an attack where individual(s) with guns are used to kill groups of people in public schools and other locations.

After watching the news, reading others on the Internet, then talking and listening with public school employees sharing problems and solutions, may I offer the following?

The major preference for most teachers is, ‘just allow me to teach our children’.  In most cases, the children wan to learn.  There are a few others determined to erupt any teaching atmosphere.

A.    Public Schools have a nurse in virtually each public school, but not a Counselor.  While a Nurse can take the blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, etc. and keep these records, a Nurse is a necessity for the children’s health.

B.    A Counselor, for adding one school position is needed, and even critical, for the children to have someone as a trusted ear to talk to in reporting and having vital problems with and among others in their schools, their community, and/or at home.

C.    When children have a difference with other children in dispute(s), their solution is to attack and fight their opponent(s).  When there is a physical attack, the schools suspend the attacker for some 10 days or so.  The child may take a suspension as a vacation without school.  Upon return to school, the child(ren) is/are still in dispute waiting for another fight.  Nothing is settled.

Perhaps, reallowing pattling, as corporal punishment, may be another option.

Public schools must spend more emphasis on teaching ‘Civics’ on a regular basis, and teaching our children more civility living within each other in our daily lives.  Solving differences without a physical fight must be taught a gentler solution.

Solution: It has now become critical for each school system to employ at least one or more system Psychologist, depending on the district size.  When students are suspended for misconduct, require the child, and their parent(s) or child keeper(s) to see a Psychologist for evaluation.  Permit the Psychologist to determine when the psychological child has the ability for returning to the public school.

D.    Encourage each school system to begin an optional class on the Holy Bible.  The Holy Bible was used by our Founding Fathers as a guidance in inscribing our US Constitution.  The Holy Bible is a Book that has survived for thousands of years that even today, is effective in teaching our children the right directions to lead and follow in life.

 

In summary, destroying the Second Amendment and denying law-abiding citizens from having the right to buy, own, and possess a pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. is creating another problem for the law-abiding citizens of the USA. 

If law-abiding citizens have their guns taken away, the only ones with guns are the criminals and governments; leaving law-abiding citizens with no protection.

Amendment II: “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

Imagine what it would be like if and when (y)our government denied the right to own or even possess a gun:

For practicing target shooting;

For hunting wildlife game for (y)our family nourishment;

For protecting yourself and/or your family against a criminal’s home invasion;

For protecting yourself and/or your family against a mutinous government; and perhaps, a  

       government’s home invasion into your own household!

Protect of our Second Amendment is essential to a free and open government.  It was then and still applying today; primarily intended to protect Americans, from all criminals, and from a mutinous government.

Everyone must understand. The NRA represents law-abiding citizens; as our protectors.  NRA Executive Director and CEO, Wayne LaPierre, continues to say, "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun."

Tampering of the 2^nd Amendment is an aggressive violation of our personal freedoms and a destruction of our US Constitution.
